Why I Like Tebow
I like Tim Tebow. He is a stand up guy. At the end of games, he kneels down and gives thanks to God on the field. When small minded people try to put him down, he does not try to put them down or even argue with them. He does not worry about being politically incorrect, he simply seeks to be who he is. He is in a relationship with God and not ashamed of it.
It is ironic that you hear actors who play a role, pretend to be an expert on the role they are playing at. There is no pretend in Tebow.
Some years back there was a young pro quarterback who use to pray on the field with some of his team at the end of his games. After a while the media criticized him so much that he stopped. He stopped bowing down to God and bowed down to the media. He got a bit full of himself. His name is Ben Roethlisberger. Bowing down in prayer is our inviting God to lift us up.
