Complain
Ever spend time with someone who always complains? Talk about Debbie Downer and draining! Maybe that person sometimes is you. Faith
Remember the term, "Show me the money"? It is embarassing to be taken advantage of, especially if others find out. But what place does faith have? When do we have to rely on what we believe rather than what we see? As Christians, "We live by faith, not by sight." -2 Corinthians 5:19. Joy
It is amazing to me to meet Peruvian Christians who live in the most desolate conditions to be so full of joy. Apparently joy is not dependent on one's circumstances. To remain joyful we must remember that God is always with us. "Splender and majesty are before him; strength and joy in his dwelling place." -1 Chronicles 16:27. -Pastor Mike

Christ's presence on earth was limited to one place. His death to remove our sins, resurrection and defeat of death, and return to the Father provided the opportunity for the Holy Spirit to come and be present to us, no matter where we are. How Long?
Do you have a mentor that you can talk with on a daily basis? We ALL need such a person. Likewise, we need to come to God each day with our problems and concerns. In Psalm 13, David crys out 4 times, "How long?" By the end of the psalm, David puts his trust in God. "But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation." -v.5. -Pastor Mike
